Job summary

BuddiesHR is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate to perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year. You will scan barcodes with a downloadable app and help report quantities for about 45% of products scanned.

The role offers independence in the workplace with flexible hours and a focus on reliability and quality. Work involves standing, walking across store aisles, and occasional travel between stores.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collection by scanning barcodes with a mobile app at local retailers.
• Complete weekly scanning tasks across multiple store types (grocery, convenience, drug, mass).
• Meet weekly deadlines and handle additional custom projects when required.
• Report to assigned store within described deadlines.
• Contribute to accurate data delivery for clients by maintaining consistency across stores.
