Job summary

BuddiesHR in Fairbury, NE is hiring a part-time Retail Scan Associate to visit a select set of local retailers each week to scan barcodes and collect product data. You will use a mobile app to scan barcodes, record quantities for about 45% of products, and support in-store data collection across multiple stores.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in stores using a mobile app.
• Collect data on product displays and aisles, including end caps.
• Complete weekly display scanning across stores, sometimes for several hours.
• Support custom projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per week per store.
• Meet weekly deadlines and maintain data quality for clients.
