Job summary

ScanScape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates in Columbus, GA to visit selected stores weekly and scan product barcodes on displays and aisles using a downloadable app. The base hours average 4–9 per week across stores, with additional time for special projects; steady scheduling will be reviewed at interview.

You will be on-site, with competitive compensation of $16/hour, and travel paid at your hourly rate minus the first and last 15 minutes.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned local retailers weekly to scan barcodes on displays and in aisles, including end caps.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes.
• Record quantity for about 45% of scanned products as required.
• Complete Display Scanning across the store weekly and for special projects when needed.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and maintain dependable, quality-driven work.
