Job summary

Circana is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to perform in-store data collection at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. You will scan barcodes using a mobile app, across grocery, convenience, drug, pet and other retailers, for data-driven sales insights.

The role offers independence, flexible hours, paid travel at your hourly rate, and opportunities for 401(k) matching. Must be 18+, have a valid driver's license, and reliable Wi‑Fi.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with insurance.
• Able to stand long periods and reach products throughout the store.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet high.
• Able to perform repetitive movements with limbs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter with reliable Wi‑Fi access.
• Tech savvy; comfortable using a mobile app for scanning products.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and aisles.
• Collect in-store data for retail performance analysis across multiple store types.
• Use a downloadable mobile app to scan barcodes and report quantities.
• Support clients with custom projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work in peak weeks.
• Maintain schedule adherence and deliver quality data for clients.
