ScanScape is seeking a Retail Scan Associate in Des Moines, IA 50321. This permanent part-time role averages 3–6 hours per week across stores, with occasional extra hours for special projects.

You will scan barcodes in multiple retailers, using a mobile app, and work to ensure accurate data for client reports. Key requirements include being at least 18 with a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, ability to stand long hours, lift up to 25 pounds, and access to reliable Wi‑Fi.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, reach 6 feet, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan product barcodes on displays and aisles using a mobile app.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products as required.
• Complete store-wide display scanning weekly; some weeks may be longer depending on workload.
• Assist with Custom Projects; additional 30 minutes to 2 hours per store during peak weeks.
• Maintain dependable, quality-driven work to support client data needs.
