Job summary

ScanScape is hiring a part-time Retail Scan Associate to visit a designated selection of stores each week, scan product barcodes, and help improve retail performance.

You’ll work with grocery, convenience, drug, and mass merchandise retailers using a mobile app to collect data and meet weekly deadlines.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure standing for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Reliable Wi-Fi access.
• Tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store.
• Use a downloadable app on your mobile phone to scan barcodes across stores.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products.
• Complete display scanning weekly across all stores, which can take several hours.
• Handle Custom Projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours in some weeks.
• Report to your store within the described deadline.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and deliver data to clients; enjoy independence and flexible hours.
