Job summary

ScanScape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local grocery and convenience stores, scan product barcodes, and collect display data weekly. This role offers on-site work with flexible hours and paid travel. Expect physical activity, independence, and steady scheduling across multiple store types.

Base hours average 5–7 per week per store, with additional hours for special projects. You’ll work with major retailers and small independents, supporting data-driven sales insights.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet tall.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands and arms.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter with reliable Wi‑Fi and tech skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisles.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across store locations.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products.
• Complete in-store data collection for 52 weeks a year, including holidays.
• Support display scanning and participate in special projects when required.
