Job summary

ScanScape is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate for Waynesboro, VA 22980. You will visit designated stores weekly to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisles, helping improve sales performance. This on-site role offers flexible hours and practical data collection duties.

The position pays $15-16/hr with travel paid at your hourly rate, plus eligibility for a 401(k) with company matching and a referral program. Must be 18+, own a reliable vehicle, and have Wi‑Fi access.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes throughout each store and collect data.
• Complete display scanning weekly and assist with custom projects when requested.
• Adhere to deadlines and report data accurately for client reporting.
• Engage in flexible scheduling across multiple stores, with travel between locations.
