Job summary

Scanscape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores and scan product barcodes on displays and aisles. You will work a set weekly schedule across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores with independence and flexible hours.

You’ll use a downloadable mobile app to scan barcodes and may be asked to provide data for about 45% of scanned products. 52-week coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance.
• Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout stores.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet high, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms and legs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned retailers every week for 52 weeks a year.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes in various locations within stores.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products.
• Report to stores within described deadlines and complete weekly scanning tasks.
• Handle display scanning across the store and assist with occasional custom projects.
