Job summary

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store).

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with valid insurance.
• Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands and arms.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven and have reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy and able to use a scanning app.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and aisles.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across store locations.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products weekly.
• Work across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass retailers.
• Report to stores within deadlines and support client requirements.
• Participate in year-round projects and flexible scheduling.
