Norman’s Gift Shops, Inc. in Mullica Hill, NJ is seeking a Part Time Sales Associate to help customers at Mullica Hill Plaza. We pride ourselves on delivering a caring, positive shopping experience and celebrating special occasions.

You will greet customers, learn product knowledge, assist at the register, stock displays, and support store goals. Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible schedule including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong aptitude for basic math functions including percentages and general arithmetic.
• Ability to continuously stand/walk; frequently push/pull; occasionally bend/stoop/crawl/reach above shoulders/kneel; climb a ladder, and carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Infuse our Customer CARE program into the culture of the store in which you drive retail sales by genuinely connecting with the customer, building relationships, and earning her business.
• Belief that the customer always comes first and is the most important individual to our business.
• Meet store specific Crown Rewards program enrollment goals on a consistent basis.
• Ability to learn and be efficient with our register system to ensure a pleasant point of sale experience for our customers. Accountable for cash register accuracy and basic mathematical skills.
• Learn and utilize outstanding selling skills during customer interactions to build sales and drive customer satisfaction.
• Proactively learn retail product knowledge for all merchandise to use when selling to the customer.
• Maintain and restock displays as directed by store management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
