Job summary

Work World in Hayward, CA is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to join our team and help lead the next stage of growth. You will demonstrate product knowledge, assist customers in store and over the phone, and contribute to daily sales goals.

We value friendly service, accurate cash handling, and teamwork. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of retail experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the flexibility to work nights and weekends; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years retail customer service experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Willing to work nights and weekends.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Bi-Lingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers.
• Assist customers with requests in store and over the phone.
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and polite manner.
• Maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.
• Complete customer transactions at the cash register including taking payments and issuing receipts.
• Tag prices and merchandise.
• Contribute to the team’s daily sales goal.
