Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our growing team. You will ensure that every customer receives the best service, communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, and lead the department while mentoring teammates.

The role emphasizes product knowledge, selling skills, and promoting programs like warranties and Good Sam Memberships. It also includes maintaining store appearance and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Previous Retail experience is preferred.
• Superior customer service skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Must maintain a professional demeanor and work ethic.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings and weekends.
• May lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
• Periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.

What You’ll Do:

• Ability to establish strong product knowledge and sell to customers
• Maintain the appearance of store which may include stocking and performing general housekeeping duties
• May cross train to perform other duties
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned

What You’ll Need to Have for the Role:

• High school education or equivalent

General Compensation Disclosure

The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the total annual compensation range (base pay + variable compensation earned) is $30,000 - $60,000 or more. This is a commission-based role with uncapped commissions.
