Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Detroit, MI is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to greet customers, process sales, and maintain organized displays. The role requires standing for long periods, reliable attendance, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

You will assist with stocking, balancing the register, and delivering friendly service to donors and shoppers while supporting daily sales and community programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Basic communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Experience with POS systems is a plus

Retail Sales Associate

Location: Detroit MI Pay: $13.73 - $15.73per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 24 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

We are looking for a friendly, dependable Retail Sales Associate to provide great customer service, keep the store organized, and help create a welcoming shopping experience for customers and donors.
