Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers is seeking a part-time Retail Associate – Processor/Runner in Opelika, AL. You will process and sort donated goods, stock shelves, and rotate merchandise while supporting cross-training to learn all areas of the retail operation.

The role requires availability to work any shift Mon-Sun, with 20–25 hours per week, and a starting pay of $13.00 per hour. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred; warehouse experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Prior experience working in a retail or customer service-related environment; preferred.
• Warehouse experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes and sorts donated goods rapidly but accurately.
• Stocks the store shelves in a neat and orderly manner.
• Rotates merchandise on a color-coded system.
• Identifies quality donations and ensures they are priced, processed, and transported to the sales floor promptly.
• Achieves production goals based on quality and quantity of donations.
• Works other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.
