Job summary

Goodwill Legacy Group in Indianapolis is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to support store operations at 1520 E. 86th St. This role encompasses duties across cashier, donation entrance, eCommerce, textiles, and rack or cart running.

You will handle cash transactions, assist customers, sort donations, maintain neat shelves, and help meet daily sales goals. The position requires reliable teamwork, strong customer service, and the ability to perform physical tasks for up to 8 hours.

Qualifications

• No formal degree required; capability and prior experience valued.
• Strong focus on customer service and effective communication.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Rings up customer orders, maintains a balanced drawer, and follows cash handling procedures.
• Provides general information about Goodwill programs to customers.
• Maintains cleanliness of the sales floor and shelves.
• Accepts donations and sorts products, directing to appropriate areas.
• Loads and unloads trucks; operates pallet jack and floor equipment as needed.
• Assists eCommerce and other specialty product processes as required.
