Job summary

The Michael's Companies is seeking a PT Retail Merchandising Manager in Ankeny, IA to drive merchandising and store operations. You will assist the Store Manager, lead truck and stock flow, and ensure planogram compliance and visual standards to create a customer-ready environment.

You will manage workload planning, inventory accuracy, pricing, and promotional signage while coaching team members and supporting loss prevention efforts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Strong inventory and visual merchandising skills.
• Experience with SOPs and company programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOP compliance and company programs.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting and stock flow to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization to maintain stock and picks.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising to standard.
• Manage pricing changes and promotional signage accurately.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN receiving.
• Train, coach and develop team members within departments.
• Support Asset Protection and shrink reduction initiatives.
• Maintain backroom organization and a customer-ready store.
