Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently, showcasing organization and time management skills, building retailer relationships, and representing Hallmark. Responsibilities include optimizing product placement, maintaining inventory, supporting seasonal resets, and occasionally servicing other vendor products with provided instructions and additional time.

SALARY AND SHIFT DETAILS

• Starting pay ranges from $13.50 to $14.50 depending on shift and location.
• This is a part-time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Weekly hours are between 10–13 hours.
• Availability during major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will service retail stores like grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. Key components include:

• Daily engagement: Restocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory via a mobile device, communicating with supervisors, and interacting professionally with store staff and customers.
• Holiday support: Additional hours and days around major holidays, with potential work on actual holidays.
• Department resets: Installing fixtures, relocating departments, and resetting sections, often with two weeks' notice, including potential evening or weekend work.
• One Team Vision: Supporting additional tasks as needed within the team.

Physical Requirements

This physically demanding role requires energy and urgency. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, and perform various physical activities throughout the day.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Capability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate mobile technology and access Wi-Fi and internet.
• Reliable transportation to assigned locations.
