Job summary

Perry Ellis International is seeking a Lead Sales Associate (part-time) for the Milpitas, CA store. The role centers on selling Perry Ellis merchandise while delivering Perry Ellis customer service standards and supporting store leadership to hit sales and visual goals.

Responsibilities include product knowledge mastery, driving the PE Loyalty Program, maintaining store appearance, and following all policies. Base pay is $19.25–$19.50 hourly with monthly incentives and a clothing allowance.

Qualifications

• Energetic and positive attitude.
• 1-2 years of retail experience is typical for this role.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Customer service-oriented – outgoing, friendly, and personable.
• Must be able to move and/or lift to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provides customer service to company standard and leads the team.
• Generates maximum sales potential in accordance with Perry Ellis standards.
• Builds repeat customer base through PE Loyalty Program data capture.
• Maintains strong product knowledge, promotions and events to communicate to customers effectively.
• Fosters a positive store experience and treats customers and staff with fairness.
• Manages time and prioritizes tasks, ensuring floor coverage and proper communication.
• Supports execution of pricing strategies and store planograms.
• Replenishes merchandise on the selling floor as needed.
