Job summary

Perry Ellis is seeking a Lead Sales Associate (part-time) for our Tampa store to drive customer service and sales excellence. You will support the Store Manager and team, promoting Perry Ellis merchandise and ensuring the store meets financial and visual standards.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of retail experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude. You will help maintain stock, assist customers, and participate in store operations and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Energetic and positive attitude
• 1-2 years of retail experience
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to move and/or lift to 25 pounds
• High school degree

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to Perry Ellis standards and lead a team.
• Generate maximum sales potential in accordance with Perry Ellis standards.
• Build repeat customer base through PE Loyalty Program data capture.
• Maintain knowledge of product, promotions, and events to communicate to customers effectively.
• Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and staff with fairness.
• Maintain floor coverage; acknowledge every customer and prioritize tasks.
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication.
• Manage time and priorities; step in when supervisor is not present.
• Keep merchandise filled to appropriate levels on the sales floor.
• Ensure the store is visually distinctive and well-maintained.
• Follow all operational policies and procedures.
