Dollar Tree in Covington, LA is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, merchandising, and front-end duties. You will help create a clean, inviting shopping environment while delivering friendly, helpful service to customers.

Key duties include receiving merchandise, stocking, maintaining store cleanliness, handling transactions at the register, and safeguarding cash.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in a safe manner.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
