Job summary

Goodwill Industries of West Michigan, Inc is hiring a Retail Production Worker to support our mission by sorting donated goods, pricing items, and processing textiles and hardlines. This part-time, hourly role focuses on merchandising, quality control, and preparing items for sale in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will join a collaborative team, maintain safety standards, and assist with after-hours or weekend projects as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in retail operations preferred.
• Availability to work after-hours on special projects; weekends and some holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; repetitive movement and physical stamina required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the sorting and pricing of donated goods and materials.
• Textiles and Hardlines Processing: follow established sorting and pricing guidelines; recognize brand items.
• Donation Attendant: receive and sort donations by category.
• Operate pump cart and stacker to move containers, totes, etc.; maximize space utilization.
• Operate Compactor: follow safety procedures and understand mechanical operation.
