Job summary

Scanscape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores and scan barcodes with a mobile app to collect in-store data. The role supports 52 weeks of data collection across multiple store types, including grocery and mass merchandise.

The base hours average 9–11 hours per week across all stores, with 1–2 more hours per week per store for special projects. Travel is paid at the hourly rate, and 401(k) with employer matching is available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long durations and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned local retailers weekly to scan barcodes in-store.
• Use a mobile app to capture barcode data across store aisles and displays.
• Meet weekly deadlines and complete data collection for each store.
• Assist with occasional custom projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours per week for stores.
