Family Dollar in Sardinia, Ohio is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help maintain store conditions including cleanliness and stock levels.

The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, physical stamina for lifting 30–50 lbs, and a customer-friendly approach to support operations and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
