Job summary

Family Dollar in Earle, Arkansas is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the cash register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and safe.

The role emphasizes friendly interactions, following store procedures, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintaining high standards of customer service, organization, and communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms; sweep and mop floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
