Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience in our Sanford, FL store. The role involves assisting customers, handling transactions, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or customer service experience. Physical stamina is required for lifting up to 50 lbs and constant movement around the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and stooping.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
