Job summary

Dollar Tree in Havre, MT is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience at the store level. You will assist customers with questions, process sales at the register, stock shelves, and help unload merchandise while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store (bathrooms, floors, trash, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned.
