Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate to help customers, operate the register, and deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist with stock replenishment, unload merchandise, keep the store clean, and ensure all areas are neat and presentable.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs while standing and walking throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment; interactions with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
