Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Columbus Junction, IA to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and maintain store presentation.

Responsibilities include stocking, unloading trucks, safeguarding cash, and upholding a positive, safe environment while providing friendly service. Part-time positions may apply and local laws apply to eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store and restock bathrooms, sweep/mop floors, take out trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
