Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers, operate the cash register, and keep the store clean and organized. This part-time role emphasizes friendly service and efficient checkout to ensure a positive shopper experience.

The position requires strong customer service, good communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training and ongoing support are provided to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
