Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. seeks a Customer Service Associate for our Taylors, SC store. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, safe shopping environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or customer service experience. Strong communication, reliability, and a team-oriented approach are valued to deliver a positive in-store experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, and other physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
