Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Hopkins, SC to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help keep the store well-stocked and presentable.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior customer service experience in retail or related fields. You must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stay active while delivering friendly, accurate service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Help unload trucks and stock replenish per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
