Job summary

Family Dollar in Thornton, CO is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage transactions at the cash register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

Responsibilities include unloading deliveries, restocking merchandise, and maintaining a safe, friendly environment for customers and teammates. Flexibility for other duties is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers, associates, and leaders
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash
• Other duties as assigned
