Job summary

Family Dollar in Merced, California is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver friendly, efficient service at the register and on the floor.

You will greet customers, answer questions, help with stocking and shelving, follow store procedures, and keep aisles clean and organized while contributing to a positive shopping experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision‑making skills are required.
