Job summary

Dollar Tree in Wisner, LA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help deliver an excellent shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and secure.

This part-time position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Capable of lifting 30–50 lbs and frequent walking, standing, bending, and stooping.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Maintain store cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
