Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Hyde Park, NY is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide friendly service, operate the register, and keep the store inviting for shoppers. You will assist customers, stock shelves, and handle merchandise processing with accuracy and care.

As a team member, you will maintain a clean, safe environment and support daily store operations, including unloading shipments and assisting customers with a positive, helpful attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail/customer service experience highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent movement.
• Excellent customer service and relationship skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness across the store, bathrooms, floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
