Dollar Tree Stores INC in South Milwaukee is hiring a part-time store associate to help customers, operate the cash register, and keep the store well-stocked and clean. You will unload trucks, restock merchandise, and ensure a positive and safe shopping environment for customers and team members.

The role requires the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, stand and walk for long periods, and follow instructions while delivering friendly, helpful service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar setting is highly preferred.
• Must follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise as needed.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks, stock replenishment per standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store including restrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
