Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in West Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions, and help maintain store cleanliness and stock.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and the stamina to stand and walk frequently. This is a part-time position with opportunities to grow within the store team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent standing and walking.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
