Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience in Lovington, NM. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and safe.

The role requires lifting 30–50 lbs and sustained mobility, with a focus on friendly, professional customer interactions. Experience in retail or service industries is preferred, along with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
