Job summary

Dollar Tree in Washington state is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

This role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Part-time schedule with physical duties including lifting 30–50 lbs and occasional stocking.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
