Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Tyler, Texas is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide excellent shopping experiences. You will assist customers, manage transactions at the register, and help keep the store clean, stocked, and secure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must lift between 30 and 50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
