Job summary

Family Dollar in Troy, TN is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environments is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain store security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading and replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
