Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time retail team member in Rio Hondo, TX to assist customers, manage transactions, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, safe store. You’ll greet customers, answer questions, operate a register, and help unload merchandise according to productivity standards.

This role emphasizes friendly interactions, teamwork with associates and leaders, and upholding store policies.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions and operate assigned cash register.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock levels, including restocking bathrooms and floors.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Other duties as assigned.
