Job summary

Family Dollar in Stone Mountain, GA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide friendly, efficient service at the store level. You will assist customers, process transactions, and contribute to a clean, safe shopping environment in a part-time role.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and reliability, with responsibilities for stock replenishment and merchandise handling to support daily store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/customer service experience preferred across sectors.
• Able to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking/standing.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and trash.
