Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Oklahoma LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Shawnee store and deliver a friendly shopping experience for every customer.

You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain a clean, orderly store while upholding safety and professionalism. This part-time role offers growth opportunities and the chance to connect with shoppers daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks for stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness, restrooms, floors, and overall presentation.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
