Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Oklahoma LLC in the United States is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help keep the store clean, stocked, and organized.

The role emphasizes friendly, professional interactions with customers and fellow staff, with duties including unloading merchandise and ensuring safety and neatness across the store. Part-time hours and onsite presence expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and overall appearance.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Customer service experience in retail/hospitality/food/drug store
