Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience at our Schuyler, NE store. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and help stock and unload merchandise to keep aisles neat and approachable.

You should be able to lift 30–50 lbs, follow store procedures, and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor with customers and team members. Expected part-time hours in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, restrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
