Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Mississippi LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer at our Pearl store.

You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, restock and merchandise the floor, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Part-time schedules are available and flexibility to work peak hours is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or frontline customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
