Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Mississippi LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience in a part-time role at our Mendenhall, MS location. You will assist customers, process transactions, stock shelves, receive merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe store environment while interacting professionally with customers and team members.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned
