Job summary

Dollar Tree Here in Melbourne, FL is seeking a part-time team member to assist customers, ring up sales, stock merchandise, and keep the store clean and welcoming. You will help unload trucks, replenish shelves, and ensure a safe, friendly shopping environment for guests and colleagues.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Flexible, part-time hours are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent standing and walking.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and team.
• Keep store clean; restrooms, floors, trash, and general neatness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
